isiNET ("Service"), provided by ISINET, LLC ("ISINET") with the permission of your educational institution, school district, teacher or other responsible educational authority ("Subscriber") makes available to you ("User"), subject to the following terms and conditions of the isiNET service contract. By using and accessing this Service, you agree to be bound by, and to abide by, these terms and conditions and any other terms and conditions or terms of service posted on any individual page of this Service.

ISINET and Subscriber work together to protect the online privacy of all members of the isiNET-using community, including students, parents, teachers, and administrators. isiNET's information collection, security, and privacy policies have been authorized by your Institution or faculty member who strive to provide services in a secure manner. For example, isiNET uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption standard to transfer private and personal information, the same technology used by online banks. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and ISINET cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information managed by the Site, whether transmitted to isiNET by you, your institution, or the teacher.
Information Collection and Disclosure
ISINET collects and analyzes data about how the Service is used as a whole (how groups of people use isiNET) for the purpose of improving the Service. For example, ISINET might know that the institution's calendar and reminders receive a lot of traffic, which could influence how this aspect of the service is delivered in the future. ISINET does not analyze information about how particular individuals use the service as part of general reporting procedures or in the normal course of business. However, information about individual system usage, including but not limited to individual IP addresses, may be analyzed on a case-by-case basis to resolve a technical issue or to help resolve or investigate any misuse of the service; in addition, individual usage information may be provided to Subscriber if Subscriber requests such information to assist in the investigation of fraudulent, abusive or criminal activity or any other use of isiNET that violates Subscriber's rules or policies.
isiNET requires all users to have a username and create a password, which is stored on the site, and may collect other basic information such as name, address, email, etc., depending on the needs of your institution or the Service. This information is not given or sold to third parties, unless required by your institution as part of its information management efforts. For example, if Subscriber uses an independent company to manage its finances, necessary information may be shared with that company to help with those administrative tasks. ISINET will not request personal information or user identification data and password by phone or email.
The Subscriber may use isiNET to host online discussion forums or send messages on topics of importance to their community or institution. The Subscriber will decide how these online forums and chat rooms are used, including whether they are available to students. These are public forums, and the information that users post may be available to other members of the Institution's community, and in some cases even to other institutions or the public Internet. The Subscriber will decide how they want to use the online forums, chats and bulletin boards.
These information collection, management, and disclosure practices apply to all users with access credentials including parents, students, teachers, administrators, and non-instructional personnel. If you are a parent/guardian, you agree that this is acceptable to you, as well as any of your children using isiNET. If you are a teacher, you agree that this is acceptable to you, as well as any of your students using isiNET.
Opt out
If you are the parent and guardian of a student using isiNET, and you no longer agree to isiNET's terms of use and privacy policy at some time in the future, you may choose to contact the Subscriber.
Your Liability Related to Use of the Service
It is your responsibility not to reveal your username and password to anyone. It is your responsibility to use this service only for its intended purpose. Any use of the Service not in accordance with the intended purpose by the Subscriber is prohibited.
Forums, Expression Boards and Chat Rooms
ISINET does not control the messages, information or files posted to the forums, expression boards and chats. You understand and agree that ISINET has no obligation to monitor the forums, expression boards and chat rooms. You also agree and understand that Subscriber chooses to restrict or control User's access to forums, message boards and chat rooms for any reason and you agree to abide by any such restrictions or controls.
Both ISINET and the Subscriber reserve the right at any time to disclose information submitted by you or any other user if necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation or governmental request, or to modify, refuse to submit or remove any information or material , in whole or in part, that in ISINET's sole discretion are objectionable or in violation of these terms and conditions.

Editorial Content / Communications
You acknowledge that all communications on expression boards are public and not private communications, therefore others may read what you say on the Internet without your knowledge. Always be careful when giving out any personally identifiable information about yourself or your children in any chat, board or forum for expression. ISINET recommends that parents/guardians and teachers educate students on the correct way to use a chat, board or forum of expression and the Internet.
ISINET does not control or endorse the content, messages, or information found in chats, expression boards, and therefore specifically disclaims any liability in connection with chats, expression boards, or forums and any actions resulting from your participation in any chat service, boards or forums for online expression. The administrators and hosts of these chat rooms, boards, or forums are not authorized ISINET spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of ISINET.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Web and Mobile Services design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, code-behind, software (including applets), and all other materials of this Service, are either the copyright or trademark of ISINET and its affiliates or its content and technology providers.
